Postal Services
The Lipscomb Post Office is a full-service post office under the existing guidelines of the United States Postal Service.
Lipscomb Post office connects you to several mailing service options: US mail services, UPS and FedEx services, and notary public. Of course, this is also where you'll get your mail. We're located on the lower level of Bennett Campus Center.
Campus Mail & Arrival Times
Student may receive mail at the Lipscomb Post Office service window. Box assignments are made by the post office for all on-campus residents. Mail should not be addressed to dormitories or office buildings, but should be addressed to a student with box number or directly to a faculty member then dropped in a campus mail slot. Off-campus mail is typically ready for pickup at the service window by around 10:30 a.m. each day, but may be later due to mail volume. UPS generally arrives between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m., FedEx between 10 and 11:30 a.m. and FedEx Ground between 1 and 2 p.m.

How to Forward Your Mail
You can forward your mail if your current change of address form is on file. This allows mail to be forwarded for up to one year.
If you are living off campus or will be gone over the summer, and you would like to receive mail, you will need to put a forwarding order on file.
What happens to my mail during breaks such as summer and Christmas when I'm not in school?
During the extended holidays, like Christmas, you may wish to file a change of address for your First Class mail only. We will be happy to forward this to you. We will not send newspapers or magazines. If we did send these, you must pay the forwarding charges for these items, plus your subscription might be canceled or changed unnecessarily. Some parcels are able to be forwarded and we will send these on to you at no additional charge.
Help us help to serve you better by supplying a correct address while you are not enrolled in classes.
A forwarding order must be placed each summer and after you graduate if you would like to continue to receive mail (via USPS) for up to a year. UPS and FedEx parcels cannot be forwarded, therefore will be returned to sender.

Correct Addresses and More
Specific office/department return address on all university and campus school mail is necessary where applicable. Mail should not be addressed to dormitories or office buildings.
If a department is sending a mass mailing, please place it at the mail box and inform The Connection so that it may be collected.
Please use the following address example to send mail to someone on campus:
Proper Name (first and last, no nicknames)
LU _____(Your Box #)
1 University Park Drive
Nashville, TN 37204-3951
Refrain from using a P.O. Box in the address or the mail piece may be delayed in its delivery. If box number is unknown, please leave blank and the box number will be supplied upon receipt.
For UPS deliveries please do not place box number in the address line. The box number may be placed in the lower left hand corner of the package, if desired. If someone is sending you a UPS parcel, do not list the LU number like the address above. The LU number should be located in the lower left-hand corner. UPS reads street addresses only, not a box number.
