Accessing the College Community and Enabling Student Success
Lipscomb University is committed to providing equal access to education, housing, facilities and all school-sponsored events through a dedicated effort to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and state and local regulations regarding individuals with disabilities. Pursuant to these laws, no qualified individual shall unlawfully be denied access to or participation in any services, programs, or activities of Lipscomb University on the basis of their disability. Lipscomb University will provide reasonable accommodations for the needs of qualified students as they pursue post-secondary education.
An individual with a disability is a person who: (1) has a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities, (2) has a record of such impairment OR (3) is regarded as having such impairment.

This form initiates the process to sign up for services. If you have a disability or diagnosis that qualifies you for accommodations, you must fill this out FIRST. If you don't hear from someone within 3 days, please make an appointment with us.

If you want to take your tests with extended time or in the Testing Center, you must request to take the test at least 3 days in advance, not counting the weekends or holidays, using the form below.
The Testing Center is in the Academic Success Center (Beaman Library). It is only for students registered with our office. If you have any questions about your tests, please email us at accessability@lipscomb.edu.

Thank you for your service to our country! If you have been discharged with a disability rating, you are most likely eligible for accommodations in the classroom. The accommodation process is quick and confidential and may increase your success in college!
