Parents

Trust that your student is in good hands.

Of course, you want your child to choose a university where they will thrive academically and be prepared for future success. But you aren't simply helping them pick which institution will be listed on their diploma—you’re deciding which campus culture will shape who they become.

You can be confident that your student will receive a great education at Lipscomb University, but the true Lipscomb difference isn’t just our academic edge. We’re proud to be a place that helps students grow into their whole selves, consistently graduating Christian leaders with remarkable character.

You want to know that you're sending your child to an environment that is supportive and nurturing. This is why I'm at a place like Lipscomb. — Alan Bradshaw, Physics Department Chair and Parent of Current Lipscomb Student

Supporting futures.

We are committed to providing a quality education from a faith-based, service-focused approach. Our faculty devotes substantial time and energy to shepherding students both in and out of the classroom—from advising appointments to afternoon coffee. On top of that, our small class sizes maintain a close-knit academic community.

Our students are compassionate leaders and driven professionals. Lipscomb leverages expansive organizational relationships to connect students to viable internships and competitive employment opportunities. Graduates have a long history of achieving their professional goals as part of communities in Nashville and around the world: our alumni have gone on to work for thousands of companies, from Warner Music to SpaceX.

Health & Wellness

Through our residence life team, health center and counseling staff, your student will have a network of people who are equipped to support them in mind, body and spirit. Students have every opportunity to thrive through robust wellness programs, intentional spiritual guidance, healthy dining options and more.

Safety & Security

Our security staff is on duty 24/7, 365 days a year to vigilantly monitor campus and respond to emergencies. But they're available to support students however possible, whether that means helping to jump-starting a dead vehicle battery or giving a golf cart ride to students walking back to their dorms after a late night study session.

Academic Success

We see your student’s potential to transform communities around the world with their knowledge, skills and faith. That’s why we invest in them through interdisciplinary tutoring resources, academic advising, career development services and much more. Whether they’re attempting to pass a math exam or discern a vocation, they’ll have a support network.

Spiritual Formation

At Lipscomb, a Christian education is built into the curriculum. But it's more than that. Through multifaceted spiritual formation that includes mentorship, reflection, Biblical study and service, our students are encouraged to explore what they believe and how their faith affects the way they see and interact with the world around them.
