Faculty and Staff

Students have many opportunities to connect beyond the classroom, and they often turn to a trusted professor or staff member for help and advice.

We recognize the powerful influence our faculty and staff have to reach our students and partner in their professional development—from helping design an internship to simply encouraging them to be more proactive about planning for life after graduation.

We work with faculty and staff in several ways:

• Internships: We connect faculty and employers in the internship process, to ensure our students receive the best hands-on learning opportunities possible.
• Student workers: Students are always looking for work on campus, and we’re happy to connect them to departmental opportunities that offer a valuable learning experience in return.
• Don't cancel that class! We always enjoy an audience of students and realize this may be their first exposure to the Career Development Center. We’ll make it count with a meaningful presentation or question and answer session.
