We're ready to help you find housing, get moved in and figure out what else you need during your time here at Lipscomb.

For many of you, some of your greatest memories of Lipscomb will be those made while living on campus. Here, you're part of a tight-knit community where friendships made will last a lifetime. So explore what we have to offer you. We're here to answer your questions along the way.

Incoming Freshman Students

Welcome to the Herd! We are excited to see you start your journey here at Lipscomb. All incoming students are required to live on campus and sign up for a dining plan unless they're living with their parents or their spouse in the area.

Returning Students

We are excited to see you back on campus! Returning students are required to live on campus and sign up for a dining plan unless you live with your parents or spouse in the area or have senior status. 

Incoming Transfer Students

We are thrilled to have you join the Herd! Incoming transfer students have the option to live on campus or off campus. All residential students are required to have a meal plan.

Residence Hall Move-In Dates and Holiday Closures for the 2024-2025 Academic Year

Fall Semester 202

8/12 & 8/13 - Incoming Students Move-In (new students will receive an email with a link to sign up for a date and time to move in)

8/17 & 8/18 - Returning Students Move-In (Returning students will receive an email with a link to sign up for a date and time to move in.)

11/23 - Thanksgiving Break Begins: Halls close at 10 a.m.

11/30 - Thanksgiving Break Ends: Halls reopen at 12 p.m.

12/12 - Halls close at 1 p.m. (except for graduating seniors)

12/14 - Commencement (Halls close for graduating seniors at 6 p.m.)

Spring Semester 2025

1/3 - Incoming Students Move-In (new students will receive an email with a link to sign up for a date and time to move in)

1/4 - Returning Students Move-In (Returning students will receive an email with a link to sign up for a date and time to move in.)

3/8 - Spring Break Begins: Halls close at 10 a.m.

3/15 - Spring Break Ends: Halls reopen at 12 p.m.

5/1 - Halls close at 1 p.m. (except for graduating seniors)

5/3 - Commencement (Halls close for graduating seniors at 6 p.m.)

Residence Halls

In either traditional dormitory-style or apartment-style housing, you will find a safe community in which to grow and learn. Both women's and men's dorms have free access to laundry facilities, computer labs, kitchens and standard furniture for each room.

The Connection, our on-campus post office, is a full-service post office ready to fulfill all of your mailing and shipping needs. You must have on-campus housing assignments to get a post office box.
