In each of our seven dorms, you’ll wake up every day a stone’s throw from classes, meals and friends, but at Lipscomb, it’s more than that—you’ll also be within steps of people who support you academically, socially and spiritually.
One of the richest aspects of student life at Lipscomb is living in community. We believe your Lipscomb community experience is most engaging when you live on campus, so we require our freshmen, sophomores and juniors to do so. Seniors, transfer students and students living at home with their parents or with a spouse in the Nashville area are not included in this requirement.
Every dorm has live-in resident assistants and residence hall directors to enrich your on-campus experience with unique traditions, social events, service opportunities and devotionals. Your residence hall will become more than just a place to sleep—it will be a place to study, laugh, pray and grow.
Whether you’re in traditional community-style housing or our on-campus apartments, all of our residence options offer amenities that will keep you comfortable. All residence halls include:
- WiFi
- Computer labs
- Cable television service
- Free laundry facilities
- Kitchen access
- Vending machines
- Common living areas
- Beds, desks, chairs, dressers, storage and closet space
For more information about on-campus housing, email the Director of Housing.
New students apply to live on campus through their Bison Portal. They will pay a non-refundable $200 housing processing fee, select on-campus housing and fill out the housing application. New students are automatically assigned to a space in June and will be emailed details concerning their assignment, roommate and move-in details.
Returning students select housing during the spring semester. You will receive an email in January with information concerning housing reservations dates. All returning students are required to pay a $200 non-refundable housing processing fee, fill out the housing application and will select their own assignment on their assigned day.
