College of Business Declaration Dinner

College of Business Declaration Dinner

The Declaration Dinner is an annual event designed to honor our newly declared undergraduate business students and welcome them into the COB family.

What is the Declaration Dinner?

This is an annual dinner event that is designed to officially welcome our newly declared undergraduate business students to the College of Business family. The dinner allows for students to engage with our Alumni Board, Dean's Board and College of Business faculty/staff members.

The Declaration Dinner is an important milestone in our students' lives as they matriculate with the College of Business. A special gift is presented to each COB student at the dinner to be used during the interviewing process.

What should I expect at the dinner?

This is a formal business dinner event. Students will engage in conversations with seasoned business professionals regarding current employment issues in the marketplace. This time is designed specifically with our students in mind, and it is an opportunity to ask business professionals for advice, career tips and about their experiences.

Students will also hear from our Career Connection office regarding what to expect as they work toward graduation and finding their dream job; professional development events, resume prep, internships and interviewing skills will be discussed.

What other details do I need to know?

Please wear business professional attire. A photo backdrop will be set up to take pictures with your classmates and faculty.

Registration information will be communicated to all eligible students via email.
