Student Spotlight - Alex Newsome

Meet Alex Newsome, a transfer senior Communications major from Ashtabula, Ohio (near Cleveland). Upon graduating, Alex hopes to serve as a high school and/or college minister.
His advice to Lipscomb students: "It's pretty simple: work hard and pray hard." He continued by saying, "It's up to us to go chase the purpose God has for us, but we can't do it without Him."
Something to Share: Alex enjoys watching the creative process that happens prior to the audience veiwing. For example, when someone records and edits a video before it all comes together. He admires the work behind the final product.
How are you involved on campus?: Alex wears many hats here at Lipscomb. His newest accomplishment being this past summer, where he served on the Quest (new student orientation) Team. He is also an active member of Lipscomb's Collegiate 100, a Campus Leader in Bud Ministries, and the Spiritual Director for the Diverse Student Coalition.
