Deranique Jones

Meet Deranique, a Junior Biology Major and Spanish Minor. She’s lived all around the world, but currently resides in Sacile, Italy. Upon graduation, she plans to go to medical school to be an OB/GYN.

Advice to Lipscomb students: College can tough for so many reasons, so give yourself a break, remember why you came to college, and cherish every moment.

What are you involved in at Lipscomb?

I am the president of BSU, a PAC Member, a member of IHS, Tri Beta Honor Society, and a student worker in the SALT Office.

Fun Fact: When I was two, I was in a Japanese commercial for video cameras...I'm basically a movie star.

Why did you choose Lipscomb?:

I chose to come to Lipscomb because of their emphasis on creating a strong community, and I loved that it was a smaller campus.
