Student Wellbeing

The Office of Student Life is committed to the health and safety of each of our students. We prioritize this commitment in two main ways: our Behavioral Intervention Team and Care Team

It is important for each member of the Lipscomb community to know what resources we offer on campus and how to utilize them in order to serve our students in the best way possible.

Please utilize the Behavioral Intervention Team report via the online form you can find when you observe a member of the Lipscomb community behaving in a way which poses, or potentially poses a threat to themselves or others. The BIT is not an emergency response team. You can also find the report on myLipscomb under the "Develop" tab on the left side of the page or by accessing the form, where you can find a list of faculty and staff members who serve on the team and the report form.

Please remember, the BIT is not an emergency response team. Call 911 in the case of an emergency.

Behavioral Intervention Team

The Care Team serves students who are going through a difficult time due to various life circumstances including but not limited to, the death of an immediate family member, a chronic illness, or a difficult financial situation. If you know of a with a student who falls into this criteria please complete a Care Team report. The Care Team description and the online form can be also found at myLipscomb under the Develop tab on the left side of the page.
