UPDATE • WEDNESDAY, JAN. 17 • 8 a.m.

Lipscomb University will open at 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, Jan. 17. If conditions are not safe for you to travel to campus, contact your supervisor. Personal safety is the first priority.

Classes that are scheduled to meet prior to 10 a.m. are canceled. Beginning at 10 a.m. today the university will follow normal class schedules and will follow the Class Schedule Disruption Policy if necessary.

Although the campus services team has worked diligently over the last 24 hours to clear walkways and parking lots, the extreme cold temperatures have prevented them from being able to clear all parking lots completely. Please check http://parkingstatus.lipscomb.edu for real-time parking updates. The Allen Arena West Garage is open today for employee and student parking. The Woodmont Hills overflow parking lot is closed today. We encourage you to use extreme caution as you move about campus.

Thank you for your patience as we have navigated this unusual winter weather the last few days.
