Accounting Boot Camp

Do you need the prerequisites for a Master of Accountancy program? Or are you interested in pivoting from your current career to the field of accounting? Lipscomb’s Accounting Boot Camp can get you where you want to go!

Accounting Boot Camp is a rigorous, accelerated program which will prepare you with the basic accounting skills necessary to begin a Master of Accountancy program or to begin your career in the world of corporate accounting. Boot Camp is fast paced! Beginning in May and meeting weeknights and half days on Saturdays, you’ll quickly get the knowledge you need to move forward in your career.

  • Financial Accounting 
  • Managerial Accounting
  • Intermediate Accounting I
  • Intermediate Accounting II
  • Audit
  • Tax 

With successful completion of the program, you will qualify for secondary admission to Lipscomb’s highly ranked MAcc program or be well prepared to begin your career in corporate accounting.

Deadline for admission to boot camp is April 30.

Course Description 

The 9-hour Boot Camp course is designed for degreed students who are non-accounting business majors.

  • Runs from May 31 - August 5
  • Classes meet Tuesday and Thursday nights from 5:30 PM -8:30 PM, and Saturday from 9:00 AM -12:00 PM. 
  • We are also offering a flex option, allowing students to attend sessions remotely if desired.
  • Admission deadline is April 30.

The 12-hour Boot Camp is for students who earned an undergraduate degree in any discipline other than business.  

  • Runs from May 9 - August 5
  • Classes meet M-F from 5:30-8:30 from May 10 - 28, and on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 5:30-8:30 and Saturday from 9:00-12:00 from June 1 - August 5.
  • We are also offering a flex option, allowing students to attend sessions remotely if desired. 
  • Admission deadline is April 30
