Community
Lipscomb proudly partners its student with our neighbors and the broader Lipscomb and Church of Christ communities.
The Career Development Center has two ways to help support the friends of Lipscomb. First, we offer our local neighbors the opportunity to post babysitting, lawn care, or other odd jobs to help out around the house. Secondly, Church of Christ congregations can post a ministry opportunity on the lipscomb.edu site to maximize exposure to churches within our tradition. (Please note that other denominations may post ministry opportunities on the electronic board, called Bison JobTrax).
Below are forms for ministers and congregations to fill out in order to be placed into our database. After you "Submit" your information it will be checked and approved by our career site administrator, then it will appear on the appropriate list. It will remain there for a period of six months unless notified to be deleted when filled. If you desire more time, you may register again. We do ask that you notify us as soon as a church position is filled or a minister finds employment. Please realize that by our posting this information it does not indicate recommendation or endorsement. For corrections, deletions, or assistance contact careerdevelopment@lipscomb.edu or 615.966.1792.
Current Church and Minister Listings: This database is provided for congregations of the Churches of Christ to post current openings for ministers, song leaders, youth ministers, missionaries, family ministers, associate ministers and interns. Ministers may list their information and the positions they are seeking.
You can hire a Lipscomb student to babysit, tutor your child—even mow your yard. Our students are always looking for opportunities to make extra money. To hire a Lipscomb student for occasional or part-time jobs, send us the information at careerdevelopment@lipscomb.edu. We’ll post the job on our website in an area accessible to Lipscomb students and alumni. Be sure to let us know when the position has been filled, and we will remove it from the site.
