Are you ready to journey through the iconic decades that shaped generations? Lipscomb University invites you to experience the magic of the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s at Singarama 2024: ERAS, April 4-6, in Collins Auditorium.

Prepare to be spellbound by the talent and creativity that students are bringing to this 61st edition of Singarama. You’ll be transported back in time with student performances that capture the nostalgia of decades past and will have you grooving to the music and flooded with cherished memories.

Students from all corners of campus come together to participate in this beloved annual production. Social Clubs form teams, rotating each year, and friends from other campus organizations are encouraged to join in the fun.

The new partnership that began last year with students and faculty in the College of Entertainment & the Arts will again take the show’s artistic expertise to the next level. Students from film, fashion, theater, music and scene design will showcase their creative talents and artistic expertise.

The Singarama hosts, who are selected by audition and entertain the audience between acts, are: Allie Andres, sophomore; Ava Poling, sophomore; Trinity Brown, senior; Logan Bennett, junior; Max Martin, junior; and Sh’Ahr Blackburn, freshman.

The three acts featured in the eras-themed show are: The Delta NaNaNa Era (’70s), directed by Lincoln Brown and Catherine Marshall and presented by SID, Phi Sigma and Gamma Lambda social clubs and friends; That Championship Era (’80s) directed by Audra Hochgesang and Miles Nixon and presented by Tau Phi, Delta Omega, Alpha Delta and Sigma Alpha social clubs and friends; and, The Era of Inspiration (’90s), directed by Sean Worth and Emmie Huffines and presented by Theta Psi, Phi Nu and Pi Delta social clubs and friends.

But Singarama isn’t just about the performances – it’s also about friendly competition. Throughout the weekend, acts will be judged on categories such as entertainment, vocals, choreography, visual elements and theme. The coveted overall sweepstakes winner will be announced on the final night.

To ensure a seamless experience, purchase tickets in advance. Singarama 2024: ERAS is going cashless with all-mobile ticketing; there will be no sales at the door. Student tickets are available at a discount using a promo code delivered via email.
