We have deepened our commitment to making Lipscomb a place of belonging, diversity and equity.

I sincerely hope this message finds you and your family well. This has been a truly exciting year! So much has happened in such a short period of time.

We have all been engaged in the inauguration of a new President and experienced all of the energy and excitement that has accompanied the new administration. We are finalizing a new strategic plan that has engaged individuals from every corner of the Lipscomb community and are eagerly anticipating its implementation. We have seen the emergence of the newly minted Lipscomb Gospel Choir and have enjoyed its electric and connecting performances.

Most significantly, we have deepened our commitment to making Lipscomb a place of belonging, diversity and equity where all people thrive as image-bearers of God. We are blessed to be a part of the Lipscomb community. These are absolutely extraordinary times that will forever be etched in our hearts and minds.

I have found this to be a season where I am profoundly reminded of the things that are most meaningful to me and especially the things for which I am most grateful. I hope that you too are able to reflect on those things.

The Lipscomb community is strong and resilient, but our strength is how we look out for one another in challenging times: it’s our kindness, it’s our compassion, it’s our care. I would like to challenge each of us to perform small acts of kindness as often as we are able. Remember to express sincere gratitude to all in our spheres of influence.

Those simple acts and expressions make such a big difference.
