The entire ASHP staff looks forward to mentoring them both and helping them achieve their goals as future leaders.”

The ASHP Executive Fellowship in Association Leadership and Management was created in 1968 for those interested in a career in association management. Graduates of ASHP’s training program have gone on to serve in leadership roles in associations, government, for-profit corporations, academia, philanthropy and various other sectors.

The program trains pharmacists in the many facets of association management, including executive leadership, strategic planning, policy development, financial management, government relations, marketing and communications, member engagement and many other essential association management functions.

Hipple will begin her fellowship in July and will be engaged in an array of projects and activities throughout the year.

ASHP represents pharmacists who serve as patient care providers in acute and ambulatory settings. For more than 75 years, ASHP has been at the forefront of efforts to improve medication use and enhance patient safety.
