On Wednesday, Oct. 30, Lipscomb's Nashville Business Breakfast will feature Seth Bernstein, president and CEO of AllianceBernstein and senior executive vice president of AXA Equitable Holdings. The business breakfast begins at 6:45 a.m. with networking and coffee. Breakfast follows at 7 a.m. Cost is $40 for an advance ticket. Tickets on the day of the event are $50. Tables of 10 are $350.

Bernstein was appointed president and CEO of AllianceBernstein in 2017. In 2018, he was appointed senior executive vice president of AXA Equitable Holdings.

Prior to his appointment at AB, Bernstein had a distinguished 32-year career at JPMorgan Chase, most recently as managing director and global head of managed solutions and strategy at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. In this role, he was responsible for the management of all discretionary assets within the private banking client segment.

Among other roles, Bernstein served as managing director and global head of fixed income and currency for 10 years, concluding in 2012. Prior to that, he held the position of chief financial officer at JPMorgan Chase’s Investment Management and Private Banking division.

Bernstein holds a BA in political science and economics from Haverford College and is a member of the Board of Managers of Haverford College in New York.
