BEST Robotics Competition in 2019

Music City BEST (Boosting Engineering, Science and Technology) is the final competition in a six-week robotics competition hosted each fall by Lipscomb’s Raymond B. Jones College of Engineering and Nissan.

Teams from 14 Middle Tennessee schools and home school organizations have each worked to construct a robot to complete multiple challenges related to the 2020 theme, “Outbreak: Adjusting to the Threat.”

These robots will attempt to complete these challenges on a standard field at their own school -- competing against other teams in multiple competitive rounds.  Volunteers from Lipscomb, Nissan, and our community will engage virtually, overseeing the competition, ensuring compliance with rules and scoring participants.

Winners go on to compete in the national BEST competition.
