Sculpt your success
The Honors College curriculum fulfills many of Lipscomb’s general education requirements. The approach is deliberately interdisciplinary, inviting students to explore and understand how the various branches of learning in the university are connected to a common trunk, and how learning several disciplinary "languages" can encourage both a broader and deeper understanding of the questions and answers offered inside each discipline.
Students in The Honors College should focus on how this integrated Liberal Arts Heritage curriculum encourages them to develop their abilities to learn, to speak, and to write about the significant issues within academic disciplines and within their own civil societies.
Students can graduate either as an Honors College Scholar or as an Honors College Fellow. In either case, a student must complete the Liberal Arts Heritage Core and must have at least a cumulative 3.5 GPA in all courses at graduation. Fellows also complete a senior honors thesis.
