OID Student Groups

Get involved and join one of these groups — which are led and inspired by students who have unique interests and talents, just like you.

Each student group within the Office of Intercultural Development serves a dual purpose to provide a place for students who are seeking a sense of identity, comfort or support in a specific cultural group or who are interested in experiencing and learning about a different culture.

The student groups who help fulfill this purpose are:

ABLE. Our mission is to create opportunities and events for Lipscomb students to get to know students of various abilities and to bond and be inclusive of people with disabilities. By creating these connections through our activities, a more inclusive community should start to grow and thrive in all spaces of Lipscomb University. Likewise, people will be encouraged to participate in the IDEAL organization as a peer mentor. We will focus on the ABILITY of all people in our community, lifting up and empowering each other to thrive and live the way God has planned for us.
