Lipscomb awards scholarships to students who demonstrate strong leadership in their vision and determination to pursue a college education. Prospective first-time freshmen students who meet at least three of the following criteria and are admitted to Lipscomb University will be awarded an annual scholarship of $1,000. To qualify, a student must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, file the FAFSA, and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA while enrolled.
- First generation in the family to attend college (foreign or domestic)
- Grew up in a single parent household
- Attended a public high school
- Member of an ethnic group that is under-represented at Lipscomb
