Our studies in applied behavior analysis programs combine Lipscomb’s tradition of innovation and quality instruction with one of the highest demand fields in learning today. Labor market research shows that the "annual demand for individuals holding BCBA/BCBA-D certification has increased approximately 800% from 2010 to 2017, with increases seen in almost every state." (Read more about this trend in the Behavior Analyst Certification Board's report: US Employment Demand for Behavior Analysts: 2010-2017.) Along with offering a certification program, we also offer a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis. Within the M.S. degree, students will receive Behavior Analyst Certification Board® course sequence approved courses and 1500 hours of field supervision necessary to apply for the Behavior Analyst Certification Board exam.
Current information about first-time pass rates for certification exams is available under the VCS Pass Rates heading on this page.
