Jonathon Pouliot received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Providence College in Providence, RI. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Pharmacy training from Campbell University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences as well as a Master of Science in Clinical Research from the same institution. Pouliot then went on to complete a PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency followed by a PGY-2 critical care residency, both at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. During residency training, he also completed a teaching certificate program with Belmont University College of Pharmacy as well as receiving his Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist certification. After completing training, Pouliot worked as a clinical pharmacist in the Nashville area, establishing critical care clinical pharmacy services at one medical center and establishing emergency medicine clinical pharmacy services at another before joining the faculty at Lipscomb University. Pouliot serves as an instructor in a variety of courses across the curriculum as well as serving as a preceptor at his inpatient Internal Medicine practice site for IPPE and APPE students. His interests include research design and methodology, infectious diseases, critical care medicine, and anticoagulation management.
