Biography

Ken received his first computer in the early 80's, a Commodore 64! This sparked his lifelong interest in computing, especially IT hardware. Just like many students who have gone for their undergraduate degree, marketing major, he ended up moving into his chosen fields of Cyber Security and IT later in life. He is a proud first generation student and his passion is for teaching. Ken has had the opportunity to work with several Fortune 500 companies before coming to Lipscomb University, those include:  Dell Inc., Mercedes-Benz North America, and Wells Fargo, and Chrysler Financial USA.

He completed his undergraduate coursework at Harding University, an MBA from University of Dallas, and his doctoral work, with a focus in privacy, at Capitol Technology University. His current research interests are in the fields of privacy and healthcare breaches. In his spare time, he enjoys shuttling his kids to soccer and cheer practices. Ken also is an avid golfer and bowler. He and his wife, Keri, have two children.
