Jill Kirby earned her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Belmont University in 2005. She spent 11 years working in a clinical setting mostly with children with a wide variety of disabilities and impairments. Before moving to Nashville in 2015, she spent eight years at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis where she worked to initiate programs focusing on childhood obesity and was instrumental in the opening of a new outpatient clinic.
Kirby joined the full time faculty at Lipscomb in 2017 and spends most of her time teaching Anatomy and Physiology to pre-nursing and dietetic students. She has a passion for the human body and loves sharing that passion with her students. When she is not at Lipscomb, she can be found with her husband and three children. Together as a family they love to travel and spend time outdoors.
