Assistant Professor
Dr. Lindsay Dillingham is an Assistant Professor of Marketing, teaching courses in marketing strategy and marketing research for both undergraduate and graduate students. She has also served as the Aspire Fellows program director and lead for faculty research.
In addition to her work in the classroom, Dr. Dillingham pursues a research agenda that largely centers on social influence and crisis communication in contexts such as financial investing, consumer-to-consumer information searches and health communication. Her work has been published in journals including Annals of Tourism Research, Corporate Reputation Review, Journal of Applied Communication Research, Western Journal of Communication, Communication Research Review, Library and Information Science Research, Handbook of Applied Communication Research and Risk and Health Communication. Dillingham has presented her findings at national and international academic conferences.
Prior to joining Lipscomb, Dr. Dillingham worked at Merrill Lynch in Nashville. She holds an undergraduate degree from Lipscomb University and a Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky. Dillingham has been recognized as an Outstanding Teacher by Lipscomb University and received a top paper award from the National Communication Association. She serves as a reviewer for numerous journals in addition to sponsoring undergraduate student research times.
