SGA

Student Government Association

The Student Government Association (SGA) helps sustain the spirit and morale of students, serves as an advocate for the concerns of students and works as a catalyst for student academic, social and spiritual growth while promoting the Christian values and principles of the university.

Membership in SGA is open to all dedicated and responsible students who have a desire for involvement and personal growth. SGA includes 28 senators, up to 24 representatives and four executive officers. Each class is represented by seven elected officials (their class president, vice president, coordinator and four at-large senators). The freshman class is represented by seven members of the Freshman Leadership Council. These students are interviewed and selected by the SGA executive officers at the beginning of the fall semester.
