Founded in 2007, the Nashville Business Breakfast is a quarterly networking event, presented by Lipscomb University and the Nashville Business Journal, with a news-conference-style format, featuring business leaders with local economic impact. Mark Chaffin - Chief Executive Officer, Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc.

Mark Chaffin is President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), as well as Chairman of the Board of Directors, for Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA). In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of Mitsubishi Motors' business in the United States, as well as the company's relationship with its approximately 330 dealer partners across the country.

Chaffin was promoted to CEO in April 2022, having served as the company's Chief Operating Officer since 2018. He brings a wealth of experience in senior management and strategic direction from more than 30 years of experience in the automotive industry.

He joined MMNA in 2007, and has served as Vice President of Fixed Operations, where he was responsible for the reputation, efficiency and profitability of MMNA's Parts and Service Division: and as Director, Parts Operations, where he successfully helped grow sales while improving operational efficiency across the business unit.

Prior to joining MMNA, Chaffin spent more than a decade at Kia Motors America, where he held various managerial and senior level roles in parts operations and business development. Before his tenure with Kia Motors America, Chaffin also served in a variety of managerial roles at Mazda North American Operations.  

Chaffin is based at MMNA's U.S. headquarters offices in Franklin, Tennessee.
