Jennifer is originally from Canton, Oh. She earned her Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Mount Union in Alliance, Oh. She went on to earn her Masters of Science of Nursing from Vanderbilt University with a gerontology specialty and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Educational Leadership from American Sentinel University. Jennifer is currently an Assistant Professor at Lipscomb University with course coordination roles in Health Assessment and Care of the Aging Adult. She has also taught in various other courses, both in the classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings. Currently, she is the administrator for Exam Soft within the nursing program. Her professional interests include care of the older adult, orthopedics, simulation strategies and evaluation of current curriculum and programs. Jennifer leads a weeklong medical mission trip to Haiti each summer and encourages nursing students as well as other disciplines to join her. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband, Josh and her three amazing children. As a family they love all sports, whether participating or watching, and traveling together. To relax she plays tennis with a really great group of women and reads.
