Visiting Professor

Biography

With over a decade of experience working as a professional animator and visual effects artist, Eric Stars comes to Lipscomb University from Fivestone Studios. Stars’ primary focus is 3D character animation; however, he’s also a highly accomplished motion graphics artist and graphic designer. Aside from his years collaborating with Nashville’s finest studios, Stars has also received a certificate in advanced character animation from Animation Mentor. His experience includes but is not limited to green screen effects, large scale stage and event graphics, projection mapping and feature films. Some of Stars’ most notable clients are the New Orleans Saints, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Nashville SC and many others. 
 

In addition to joining Lipscomb’s faculty, Stars has also begun work on his MFA in Film and Creative Media at Lipscomb. In his free time, he enjoys coaching soccer, SEC Sports and watching movies.
