Biography

Sissy Simmons received her M.Ed. from Belmont University. She has been sewing and designing since she was a child, and to this day she enjoys learning new sewing skills and techniques. Simmons has sewn draperies, pillows and table skirts professionally but she is most passionate about clothing construction — often using home decor fabric in her designs. Her most unique creation: a maxi dress made from a shower curtain!
