Matt Paden is special assistant to the president and an assistant professor of management at Lipscomb University. An expert in leadership development, Paden is a speaker, consultant and professor of undergraduate and graduate courses on the topics of organizational leadership, change, culture and development. He teaches in Lipscomb’s College of Business, College of Professional Studies and the College of Leadership and Public Service. Paden works alongside President Lowry on a variety of special projects and initiatives focused on strategy implementation, leadership and professional development. Prior to arriving at Lipscomb in August of 2013, Paden held a variety of leadership positions in the areas of enrollment management, athletics, student life and university advancement at Lubbock Christian University (LCU) in Lubbock, Texas. Paden holds a doctoral degree in organizational leadership from the Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology and bachelor’s and master’s degrees from LCU.
