Biography

Jeff Lee has been a senior leader in the pharmaceutical industry focused on pharmacoeconomic and health outcomes research for over 20 years. Most recently, Lee worked for Allergan, Inc., where he held multiple leadership positions, including Vice President of Global Health Outcomes Research in Irvine, CA. Lee has been extremely active in multiple national associations. He is currently Chair of the Format Executive Committee for the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, where he led development of the AMCP Format for Formulary Submissions 4.0, which provides a framework for the communication of value evidence between manufacturers and population health decision makers. In addition, Lee has participated in U.S. congressional staff briefings regarding timely payer access to clinical and economic evidence for emerging therapies. He also led development of fellowship training guidelines in pharmacoeconomics for the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, and was elected as an ACCP Fellow in 2003. Currently, Lee is participating in the Academic Leadership Fellows Program offered by the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy. He has published extensively in the field of pharmacoeconomics and health outcomes, and serves as a reviewer for a number of scientific journals. At Lipscomb, Lee is responsible for creating and delivering curricular content related to pharmacoeconomics, patient-reported outcomes, and formulary decision-making and assessment.

Lee received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Tennessee and subsequently completed a postgraduate fellowship in pharmacoeconomics at the University of North Carolina.
