Nancy Hunt came to Lipscomb in 1986. She completed her B.S. degree and dietetic internship at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. Hunt holds a master’s degree in education with an emphasis in curriculum and instruction from MTSU and a M.S. degree in nutrition and food science from Western Kentucky University.
Hunt has worked as a clinical dietitian and in the area of weight management. She has a Certification in Adult Weight Management from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Hunt currently serves as associate professor in the department of Nutrition and Kinesiology. Her areas of interest include service learning and nutrition in the aging population. She is a faculty partner with the IDEAL Program.
