Amy Hamar, a "Lipscomb Lifer," attended Lipscomb from Kindergarten through college, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in office administration in 1982. She later earned a registered nurse degree from Columbia State. In 1996, Hamar returned to her alma mater to work in the University Relations Office. In that office, she served as the administrative assistant to the vice president for university relations.
At the beginning of 2005, Hamar joined the Office of Alumni Relations to coordinate and manage alumni outreach programs. In 2011, she moved into her current position where her areas of concentration are Lifelong Learning, Golden Circle, reunion dinners, travel learning and other programs geared toward senior alumni.
Hamar and her husband Chuck ('82) have four children—Megan (’09), Kaylee (’11), Keegan (’11) and Tucker, a current student at Lipscomb University.
