Bryan Crawley brings to Lipscomb more than 35 years of experience as a software professional. In addition to serving 29 years as a computer science professor, he has worked as a software developer for Hewlett-Packard, the IBM Corporation, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. He earned his Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Kentucky. Crawley’s primary computer science interests are the design and implementation of programming languages and teaching the fundamentals of programming. In addition to his work as a computer scientist, he enjoys history, Bible study, and music of all sorts — especially classical and bluegrass.
