Don Chaffer is a singer-songwriter in the band, Waterdeep, with his wife, Lori; a theater composer/lyricist/librettist of over ten theatrical pieces, with multiple productions around the country, and one show published by Concord Theatricals NYC, (formerly Samuel French); a record producer/engineer (Indigo Girls, Sara Groves, Sandra McCracken, etc.); a songwriter with both radio (Big Daddy Weave, Third Day, Bebo Norman, etc.) and film/TV credits (The Client List, Private Practice, One Tree Hill, etc.); and an author of poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and screenplays whose work has appeared in books (Ramble & Sway, The Voice, The Art of Being) periodicals (Relevant magazine, Molehill journal, Art House America Blog), and on television (The Slugs and Bugs Show). Don teaches at Lipscomb University School of Entertainment & the Arts, and lives in Nashville with his wife, two kids and a cat named Orangey.
