Sarah Brewer is originally from Topeka, Kansas. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Washburn University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Belmont University. She is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and has presented her research both locally and nationally.
Brewer’s teaching responsibilities include Comprehensive Adult Health I and II. She is passionate about facilitating an interactive and caring learning environment where students are able to learn both the art and science of nursing.
Her professional interests include: chronic disease self-management, patient education, global health, and the use of simulation in nursing education.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
