Fanning Hall

Enjoy community living in a suite-style room.

Remodeled in 2011, Fanning Hall is a suite-style women’s dorm located near the center of campus. Each suite has four bedrooms, a living room and a bathroom with two sinks, showers and toilets. This residence hall can house 270 women with up to eight residents per suite.

Bedroom window measures 33’’L x 58” W.

Furnishings

Each student will have a:

Twin bed (86” L x 38.5” W). Height is adjustable to allow up to 3' of space underneath.
Desk (42" W x 24" D x 30.5" H) with chair
Wardrobe (3' W x 22" D)

Common Room Furniture:

Each common room has a couch, two armchairs, an end table, and a bookshelf/TV stand.

The couch is 34" H x 33" D x 57" W
Both armchairs measure 34" H x 33" D x 36" W
Window is 33’’ L x 58” W

The bathroom is shared by all suitemates.

Showers come with a basic white curtain, but many people bring their own to decorate the bathrooms. The shower is 72’’ L x 34’’ W.
There is storage space underneath the bathroom sink that measures 33” H x 68” W.
Residents are responsible for providing hand soap and towels in the bathroom.
Bathrooms are cleaned and toilet paper is restocked weekly by the housekeeping staff.
Residents are responsible for removing trash from their room and bathroom.
