Lipscomb in Florence

Inspired by art, history, and delicious food, Florence is home to locals, tourists, and study abroad students from all over the world. Florence is an easily walkable city that invites curiosity and exploration on every street.

This is the alluring culture that our Florence students call home for a semester – a culture that has undeniable romanticism, and has captured the imaginations of many. Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance, contains more art per square mile than any other place on earth. It is inspiring to walk the same cobbled streets as Brunelleschi, Leonardo, Machiavelli, Michelangelo, Galileo and a host of others who helped shape our world and civilization. Spanning the Arno River in the central province of Tuscany, this former capital of Italy provides an ideal location for students of any discipline. While Florence is located almost at the center of the Italian peninsula, all of central Europe is simply hours away.

Lipscomb in Florence runs both in the Fall and Spring semesters. Students may take 12-18 credit hours from the courses listed below. Please note that course offerings may vary per semester. Please reach out to Global Learning directly for any questions you may have.
