Biography

Nanci Carter is the Registrar for Lipscomb Online. She seeks to help students more easily navigate the path to their ultimate goal of degree completion. She began working with the College of Professional Studies (Lipscomb Online) in 2016 after previously working with the University Registrar's Office at Lipscomb for 20 years.  In her various roles, she has worked with faculty, staff, students, leadership, and the systems that support student records and learning.  She has extensive experience with student systems, navigating three student information systems, three degree audit systems, and three learning management systems.  Carter is a proud Lipscomb graduate, attending from kindergarten through graduate school, so in Lipscomb tradition, she is affectionately known as a “Lipscomb Lifer.” She received her B.A. degree in Art and her M.P.S. degree in Organizational Leadership both from Lipscomb University.
