In today’s health care industry, the needs of patients are evolving and changing and the amount of technological advancements impacting health care is increasing. More than ever, we need people in health management and administration positions who know how to apply knowledge to rapidly changing situations and establish themselves as valuable, innovative leaders in the industry. Through Lipscomb’s pioneering interdisciplinary programs and experiential education, we’ll teach you the valuable skills to get there, including creative problem-solving, quick and efficient priority-setting and compassionate care.

Become a Physician Assistant

Lipscomb’s interdisciplinary, year-round PA program can be completed in seven semesters across 28 months. Through our graduate program, you will strengthen your knowledge in basic medical science and clinical medicine courses, and engage in hands-on industry training through eight six-week clinical rotations in pediatrics, behavioral and mental health, women’s health, emergency medicine, surgery, internal medicine, family medicine as well as a clinical elective of your choice.

As a nurse, your care of patients is the foundation for any thriving health care system. You are attentive to the physical and spiritual needs of those who are hurting. Here at Lipscomb, you learn from a Christian community of professionals focused on healing and nurturing both body and soul. As a Lipscomb Nursing student you will experience extensive study in the humanities and social sciences as well as 32 credit hours of clinical placements during your course of study. This partnership of foundational study along with hands-on training in five foundational areas of the nursing field, obstetrics, pediatrics, mental health, critical care and medical/surgical, means you will graduate both experienced and well-rounded.
