The Lipscomb University Alumni Association is here to serve alumni through specific programs in order to impact and reach as many alumni as possible. To find out more about each program, please see the list below.
Student Alumni Philanthropy Council—A service organization on campus made up of energetic and hardworking student volunteers to help educate the student population about philanthropy; to cultivate relationships between students and alumni and to preserve traditions that strengthen lifelong loyalty to Lipscomb.
GOLD (Graduates of the Last Decade) Network—Led by a volunteer council, GOLD is tailored to alumni who have graduated from Lipscomb within the last 10 years. Focuses on creating a community of young professionals connected to Lipscomb and each other through networking, education, service and social activities.
Senior Alumni Program —A program for alumni age 55 and older. Includes programs such as Lifelong Learning, Summer Hostel & Travel Learning and the Golden Circle, a program tailored to alumni who have been graduated from the university for 50 or more years.
Associated Women for Lipscomb—The Associated Women for Lipscomb is an organization whose main purpose is to raise funding for need-based scholarships to Lipscomb. The organization hosts several events locally and regionally to boost networking among its members and raise scholarship funds.?
National Alumni Council—An advisory board of volunteers, representing diverse sections of the alumni base, that works with the Alumni Association to better serve the alumni. NAC members attend and support Lipscomb events and serve as university ambassadors in their respective hometowns.
The annual homecoming event is the biggest alumni activity of the year. The multi-day celebration is an opportunity for alumni and their families to gather on campus to fellowship, to see how the campus has changed since they graduated and to enjoy a variety of special activities.
Every year , the alumni association honors alumni who exemplify Lipscomb's values in both their personal and professional lives. The awards given are the Young Alumnus and Alumnus of the Year awards and a Distinguished Alumni Award from each college. A partnership with admissions, church relations and the president’s office, Lipscomb LIVE is a series of weekend events in key geographic areas designed to connect with alumni, friends, prospective students and their families; to communicate the exciting Lipscomb story and to convey to the greater community the importance of spiritual formation for the next generation.
