Summer Sessions
Your continued academic success is our priority. Get one step closer to reaching your goal of graduation by taking advantage of Lipscomb's summer courses online.
Our summer terms offer a variety of full credit academic courses. This provides excellent opportunities for you to make progress toward completion of your degree requirements. Courses are open to all college students, college graduates and eligible high school juniors and seniors. For high school students, there are specific dual enrollment courses and a residential Summer Scholars program, all of which provide college credit for courses completed.
Remote courses can be synchronous, meaning that you will meet at a specified time with your professor and with your fellow students in a virtual setting, or asynchronous, meaning you will engage with the content on your own schedule.

Financial Aid
Financial Aid is available to assist in offsetting the cost of taking classes during the summer months. Students can receive funds from their academic scholarship, HOPE Scholarship, summer PELL funds or federal loans. In order to receive any aid, students must be enrolled in at least six hours across the summer term. Summer term includes any combination of Full Term, Term 1, Term 2 Maymester, Junemester and Julymester courses. To receive aid for the summer, the student must have filed a FAFSA for the preceding school year. Once we confirm your enrollment for at least six hours, our office will apply aid to your account for summer. You should expect to receive an email with the details of your summer financial aid package at the beginning of April.
