Anna Rose Robertson
Robertson is an Assistant Professor in Kinesiology at Lipscomb. She was raised near Tupelo, Miss., and came to Nashville to attend Lipscomb where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education. She later attended The University of Georgia where she obtained her master’s degree in Exercise Science. While at Georgia Robertson was a graduate assistant in the physical education department. Upon her return to Nashville, Robertson taught physical education in the Metro public schools at the elementary and middle school levels. She then graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a PhD in Health, writing her dissertation on the effects of worksite wellness. Robertson is an assistant professor in the Nutrition & Kinesiology department as well as the wellness director for employees. She is a certified health education specialist and a certified worksite wellness specialist. Robertson’s professional interests are in the area of worksite wellness, where she has presented at regional and national conferences. Robertson is married to Jonathan Robertson, an assistant principal in the Sumner County school district. In her spare time, Robertson enjoys gardening, cooking, read, and spending time with family and friends.
