Randy Jerkins

Assistant Professor

Dr. Jerkins has been in practice with his wife, Terri Jerkins, MD at MidState Endocrine Associates in Nashville since 2001. His practice is geared toward education of patients in diabetes care and nutrition. The clinic also is involved in drug studies specific to diabetes. Prior to his association with MidState Endocrine, Jerkins was the Assistant Director of Clinical Pharmacy Services at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, TN. During the 15 years as assistant director, he was responsible for the development and management of a pharmacokinetic drug monitoring service, nutritional support service, nursing inservice, patient inservice, and physician updates on drug therapy. Jerkins is a graduate of Lipscomb University with a B.S. degree in Biology. He received his B.S. in Pharmacy in 1985 and Pharm.D. in 1986 from the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy.
