Return To Campus Plan
Lipscomb University's comprehensive plan to return to campus.Learn More
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, all Lipscomb Fridays and Daily Visits have been canceled. However, we encourage you to attend one of our online information sessions, offered daily! Click the button below to check our availability.
Other schools might call it an open house, but we like to look at your visit to Lipscomb as a sort of preview: a first look at what the next few years of your life could be like. We offer full-day visits, special visit days for students with certain academic interests, visit days tailored to transfer students, and even some Saturday visits for when life gets hectic.
As the name suggests, we hold visit days nearly every other Friday from September to April—plus the occasional Monday. The idea is for you experience campus life among current students as they go to classes, hang out in the student center and eat in the cafeteria, affectionately known as "the caf."
On a Lipscomb Friday you can sit in on a class of your choice, get to know current students, meet professors, take a tour, talk with an admissions counselor, eat in our dining hall, check out the dorms, and figure out if Lipscomb is the right place for you!
Here's a snapshot of what your day will probably look like:
10:00 A.M. Registration
10:30 A.M. Welcome
11:00 A.M. Lunch with admissions team and current students
12:00 P.M. Campus Tour
1:00 P.M. Students sit in on classes; parents attend info session
2:00 P.M. Departmental meeting with faculty member
3:00 P.M. Lipscomb Café
3:30 P.M. Residence hall tours
Please note that department-specific days may have an adjusted afternoon schedule.
Register by choosing the date that works best for you.
Every year we offer a few visit days specifically designed for transfer students. At these special events, you will have an opportunity to tour the campus, meet current transfer students, enjoy dinner with our faculty, and more!
