Haley Davis, MBA
Senior Event Manager
A native Texan, Haley attended Abilene Christian University where she earned her degree in business management. On a whim Haley packed up and moved with a friend to Nashville in 2008. Soon after arriving in Music City she joined the Event Management team at Lipscomb University and earned her master’s degree (MBA) from Lipscomb. In addition to her role as Senior Event Manager, this spring, Haley will also serve as an adjunct professor in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences’ Communication and Journalism Department where she will teach an Event Planning class for undergraduates. When she isn’t busy planning events, Haley and her husband Jeremy love to travel and explore new cities.
Anamarie Knapp received her B.A. in Marketing from Lipscomb University in 2006 and her M.B.A., with a concentration in Non-Profit Management, from Lipscomb in 2012. Upon graduation in 2006, she went on to become a Strategic Sourcing Recruiter for Hospital Corporation of America. In 2007, she began work with Yamaha Entertainment Group as an Artist Relations Coordinator. This position included sourcing and providing pianos for their endorsed artists, and assisting with concert production. Anamarie served as an Event Manager for Lipscomb almost 5 years before taking on her role as Scheduling Manager. She is married to a fellow Lipscomb alumni, Brad Knapp, and they have one son, William.
After earning her degree in advertising from Harding University, Emily headed south from Chicago with adventure on her mind, one year later, she officially calls Nashville home. Emily has a solid sense of project management, organization, and problem solving which makes her perfect for the Event Planning field. She has a strong passion for helping create a great environment for both students, staff, and guests at Lipscomb University and loves to see the camaraderie that presents itself in every event. When not working, she enjoys traveling to new places, backpacking with her husband, and cruising around Nashville in her 1982 Volkswagen Vanagon.
Shelby graduated from Lipscomb University in May of 2016 with a degree in Public Relations. Her passion for the event planning industry began through her experience in the Lipscomb University Relations department as well as internship experiences in the wedding industry. Shelby has a strong sense of time management, organization and conflict management. She has a heart for the Lipscomb community and the impact it is making in the Nashville area. Shelby enjoys building relationships with her clients to see their vision come to life. When she isn’t coordinating events, Shelby enjoys reading, watching movies, eating at new places in the Nashville area and spending time with her family and friends.

Willie graduated from Freed-Hardeman in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration/Marketing. Prior to coming to Lipscomb in November of 2013, Willie spent time working with a Children’s Home in Chino California as a house parent before she became the Substance Abuse Prevention Coordinator for Baltimore County and then for Davidson County when her family moved to Nashville in 1992. Willie took an extended period of time off from her career to focus on raising her family. She and her husband Ron have three children that are currently in college. Ben is attending Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY, while twins Mallory and Mackenzie are attending Lipscomb University.

Barry came to Lipscomb in 2002 as the Landscaper / Grounds Supervisor with 20+ years of experience in the Green Industry. In 2003, he and his crew began setting up events on campus in addition to the landscape work. By 2006, he was working exclusively on events and was officially named Event Operations Manager in 2007. Barry graduated from Michigan Christian College in 1981 with an A.A. and from Lipscomb in 2003 with a B.S. in Business Management. He and his wife Becky have been married for over 30 years.

Mindy has over a decade of customer service and managerial experience. She received her B.S. in Integrated Studies with an emphasis in Law, Justice & Society and Organizational Leadership from Lipscomb University. She hails from Texas where she studied at Abilene Christian University and worked for Compaq Computer Corporation as a Sales Account Manager for the Kiosk division. Mindy began serving Lipscomb in 2008 as the University Box Office Manager. She loves working with the Event Management team as they strive to expand the mission of the university by serving students, faculty, staff and guests. Mindy is married to Mike Fernandez (Dean of the College of Entertainment and the Arts), and they have 4 children. When not working, Mindy enjoys supporting her kids in all their activities and volunteering to serve the community and local government.
Box Office Coordinator
Rhonda Lehmer has been a fixture on the Lipscomb campus since 2007 when she began working at Lipscomb Academy before becoming part of the University Athletics team in 2009 as an administrative assistant. Rhonda plays a vital role in the operations for the Bisons department helping manage the health insurance compliance for the student athletes and as serving the department as a hospitality coordinator. Along with her role in Athletics, Rhonda also assists University Event Management with ticketing and customer service. Prior to her work at Lipscomb, Rhonda served as Business Manager and CFO for Brumfield-Gallagher Advertising for 16 years. Rhonda grew up in Nashville where she graduated from David Lipscomb High School and later attended the University of Memphis. Rhonda and her husband Kirk have three children, sons Zack and Blake and a daughter Mackenzie.
