TAAPT's Annual Meeting is March 23-24, 2018 at Lipscomb University

TAAPT (Tennessee Section of the American Association of Physics Teachers) is an organization that seeks to enhance the understanding and appreciation of physics across Tennessee through the teaching enterprise.

This annual meeting is free.

Attendees can expect presentations about many aspects of physics, from teaching tips to basic reviews of research, in universities, colleges, and high schools.

This meeting includes a dinner, a featured presentation by an invited speaker, and a poster presentation by students of their physics research.

The Friday dinner and presentation start at 6 p.m. in Faculty Club 1891 in the Bennett Center on the campus of Lipscomb University. The Saturday presentations follow a brief welcome, which begins at 8 a.m. in Swang 110, also on the campus of Lipscomb University.

The Friday evening presentation is entitled "NANOGrav: Tuning into Einstein's Universe."
The speaker is Natasha McMann, of Fisk University and who is an associate member of NANOGrav.
