Hello there, thanks again for joining us this week. Since last week's post had such a great response we decided to share another student's perspective on what makes Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy one of the top pharmacy schools in the country. Check out Ashlyn Webb's story below as she describes her decision process in choosing Lipscomb from the eight total offers of acceptance she was given.

Ashlyn Webb On Choosing Lipscomb Pharmacy

"I am beyond ecstatic to be a Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy student! I submitted my application back in January of 2016 to eight different pharmacy schools because I was completely doubting myself. My thought process was, hopefully I will get into just 1 out of the 8. After 8 interview invitations, I was elated and decided to attend them all and I'm so glad I did. I was in complete shock of how the Lord blessed me with so many opportunities and I couldn't imagine passing any of them up. For the past couple of years if you asked me where I wanted to attend pharmacy school, the answer was a specific school in Alabama. But after dragging my parents and grandparents across the state of Tennessee, down to Alabama and up to Kentucky, receiving 8 different acceptance phone calls and emails, I was at a loss for words and very confused. Some schools I knew I wasn't a fit for immediately but I absolutely loved about four schools which made my decision very hard. However, I was very blessed to have such a hard decision to make.

After many pros/cons lists, discussions with family and friends, and lots and lots of prayer, God placed Lipscomb on my heart. And I believe that if I hadn't applied to all the different schools and went to every interview I would be at the wrong school for me. Every school had amazing aspects about them but in the end it came down to where I thought I fit best, the place that felt like home and the place I knew I would grow and learn the best. And I happened to receive that feeling at Lipscomb more than I did at my prior number one choice (complete shocker and hardest decision ever).

I was so incredibly blessed and thankful through the whole process of interviews, waiting, and prayers. I can't believe all of the opportunities the Lord placed into my path. None of this would've been possible without the help and support of my family, friends, my past boss, and the many teachers throughout my entire life. I challenge you, if given the chance to visit Lipscomb, to make the trip. It could change everything.
